Tiny Boxwoods Edition

The Tiny Boxwoods' Styled Shoot is our latest feature on Grey Likes Weddings. This shoot was simply a garden romance come true! The inspiration for this shoot was derived directly from the whimsy of the lush surrounding of the venue Tiny Boxwoods in Houston, Texas. The gardens at this venue are filled with an abundance of charm and ambience. The floral-magic-maker, Maria Maxit of MAXIT Flower Design, used unexpected details like figs and seasonal fruits. Her thoughtful and warm style surrounded this shoot with elegant vibes.

My incredibly talented husband, Ben, took DIY to a whole new level when he hand crafted this beautiful wooden farm table & tufted bench!

The fig tones gave off a very light but bold essence - and the chandelier from Decor and More Rentals created quite the dazzling impression. We also included poached eggs that we collected from my parents' chicken coop on the menu. The warm greenery completely set the tone for this shoot - the energy was compelling and calm.

My favorite part of this day - my adorable Ellie girl! My curly-headed labradoodle was obviously the star of the show. Ellie modeled a flower accessory from Maxit Flower Designs, wasn't she just a natural?!

Buttercup Bakery designed such a stunning and dreamy cake. This three-tiered, detail oriented cake was the sweetest touch! (Literally)

Lush braids and greenery flower crowns for the bridesmaids and a live painting for the bride, it was truly a shoot like no other!
