English Country Side, High Tea Edition

English tea and romance = a perfect duo for any love story. For as long as I can remember, I have always dreamed of having a wedding in the beautiful English countryside. My ever so talented photographer friend, Kelly Hornberger, told me to stop dreaming and take a leap of faith. Together, we created a vision of this styled shoot love story and watched it come to life. We booked our flights and began planning!

The English countryside venue, The Copse, was built over a century ago. The essence of the venue had an unwavering, historical charm and slightly rustic touch. The gardens surrounding the countryside home were just magical - God's beauty was truly all around us. The chirping birds, the quiet, still waters, and the swift rain showers were all set in perfectly placed motion. The stormy clouds came and went, but the coverage in the sky made for the dreamiest photos! (Proof that rain on your wedding day is actually a blessing)

Being the horse whisperer that he is, it was hilarious to watch my husband Ben wrangle the next door neighbor's horse over for photos.

Soft, timeless colors were the obvious color palette to flow with the warm greenery. The focus colors were tones of rosey pinks, soft blues, plums, creams, and gold accents. A Fine Flourish designed a light and leafy invitation suite - she even added a melted wax seal. BHLDN's precious "something borrowed, something blue" Mrs. Box was so petite and charming.

While the venue had a rustic finish, we wanted the head table to have an elegant spin - English tea, candlelight style. The trendy Anthropologie created the metallic lace and rose gold plate settings atop this sweet La Tavola Linen

The lovely A Fine Flourish custom made these marble tiles (naturally we wanted royal names).

Willowgold stole our hearts with the extravagant center piece! They used soft colors, greenery, and peeped a few deep burgundy florals in to make the statement arrangement stand out. The fabulous Eric with Cmart Celebrations came all the way to the UK to help style this shoot with us. SO much gratitude to our sweet friend!

These airy colors made the exquisite Annabelle dress from Mirror Mirror Couture just POP! It's always so important to follow up with the latest bridal fashions and trends. This year, capes are an elegant must! Our Spell Bride blew us all away with her floral cape.

Our bride wore dainty, floral Bella Belle heels - it's like they were made just for the cape!

The Black Tux provided us with the perfect linen tux to complete the shoot.

BHLDN did it once again with the simply beautiful and airy toned bridesmaid dresses. Willowgold designed a dazzling bouquet for the bride and maid of honor, along with a flower crown for another maid. Emma Katzka brought the fairytale dream to life even more with a few simple hair pieces. Tono & Co provided a dainty ribbon to have as a DIY choker necklace - giving a very bold look to balance with the maid's floral dress.

The Enchanting Cake Company treated our shoot with this fresh buttercream cake and Willowgold added on some fresh blooms for the finishing touch.

What's a styled shoot without a boudoir shoot mixed in?! Our sweet and sassy Spell Bride, Jocelyn, made our job so easy for this shoot. Her smile and laughter was simply contagious! Jocelyn modeled the flawless BHLDN silk robes and lingerie.

United Kingdom, we shall meet again. Cheers! XO
